I see a lot of positive changes when main Android contributor set strict rules for vendors and third party developers. Consistent experience is important. A lot of freedom for developers at the begging of Android OS created a lot of problems. Strict rules and "freedom" controlled by user and an apps store is right my. It's my own opinion.
